Skillet Green Beans

  • 2 ½ lbs. Green String Beans
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds


Toss half of the beans in 1Tbsp oil with half of the salt and pepper. Cook in a hot skillet (cast iron preferably) for 2 minutes without stirring. Then flip and cook on other side for about 3-5 minutes longer.

Plate and keep warm while cooking the second batch. Plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
