Mama's Buns

Buns. One of the most often forgotten pleasures when eating Low Carb, Gluten-Free, Keto or any of the other No Bread lifestyles. Mama's got just the recipe to bring this important staple back into your diet though! Using our Low Carb Bread Mix you can make Hamburger Buns, Hot Dog Buns, or almost any other kind of Bun!

Low Carb Mama's Buns

Estimated Time: 10min prep, 45m - 1hr cooking
Serves 4


  • 1 ½ Cup of Low Carb Mama's Bread Mix
  • 3 Egg Whites, Beaten to Soft Peaks
  • 2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ⅞ to 1 Cup of Boiling Water
  • 1 Tbsp of Sesame Seeds (optional)


  1. Pre-heat Oven to 350° and prepare a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray
  2. Easiest in a stand mixer, beat the Egg Whites to soft peaks
  3. Add remaining Ingredients (minus the Sesame Seeds) to the beaten Egg Whites, and mix until incorporated
    *Mama says about the texture of Play-Doh™
  4. With wet hands, form the dough into 4 medium-sized buns and place onto the baking tray
    *approximately 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches high, they will not raised much
  5. (Optional) Sprinkle with Sesame Seeds
  6. Bake for 45m to 1hr until cooked through
  7. Allow to fully cool before cutting in half and serving
